The player can explore the environment from either a third-person perspective or a first-person viewpoint. There are a variety of aircrafts available, and the player needs to select his favourite one to start the game where he must struggle to take down enemies to defend the city. Compared to previous installments, the game offers the vast variety of options to the player and incorporates a campaign mode, where the player may participate in the game to play for the RAF, USAAF, or Luftwaffe.
